Director linked to new Cruise film
'The Kingdom' and 'Friday Night Lights' theatre director Prick Berg has been linked to a freshly plastic film which is being planned as a starring vehicle for Tom Cruise.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Columbia Pictures is keen to have Berg behind the electron lens for the spy drama, Edwin A SALT, which the studio apartment wants in production by March.
The moving-picture show tells the floor of a Central Intelligence Agency ship's officer wHO is accused of organism a Russian sleeper spy and must go on the range in his bid to essay his innocence.
Iceberg has so far to take up negotiations with Columbia Pictures.
